 Glass Etching for Beginners Friday, July 26th 7pm-9pm Cost: $12.00 (see notes below) Grab your friends and family and come and learn how to etch glass. Perfect for all ages. You will stencil a glass, and then etch it using a chemical compound (gloves and aprons will be provided). Everyone will make a drinking glass, as a tutorial. Then pick from a variety of glass pieces, including (but not limited to), coffee mugs, vases, plates, wine glasses and make your own. Do you want to make more than one project (i.e. a set of 4 wine glasses) - no problem! Each additional glass is only $4. Concessions available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring your own.  Please join us on Sunday, July 21, 2019 for our annual Canal Festival Chicken BBQ. Dinners will be sold between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased up until 9:00 AM on the day of the event for $10. Tickets will be sold for $11 after that time.  First United Methodist Church invites all children to get cookin’ at Shake It up Café: Where Kids Carry Out God’s Recipe Vacation Bible School. Explore and experience recipes for living out God’s Word. The fun begins Monday, July 8th and ends Friday, July 12th from 5:30 pm- 8:00 pm at First United Methodist Church at 65 Main Street North Tonawanda. The recipe at our café includes heaping helpings of Bible fun and special servings of creative crafts, hands-on mission work, food science, and great music.  Wood Pallet Sign Paint Night
Saturday, June 29th 6:30pm-8:30pm Cost: $16.50 Grab your friends and family and join us for a wood pallet sign paint night. Utilize stencils and create a Buffalo themed wooden sign (templates will be available to view), or design your own (it doesn't have to be Buffalo themed). We will cut you stencils. A variety of paint colors will be available for use. Concessions available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring your own.  Our Fall Chowder sale will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018. The price per quart is $5. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased in the Narthex on Sundays during worship or you can contact the church office at (716) 694-2456. Pick up time will be the day of from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
